Transport for the North’s Strategic Transport Plan sets out how over £70bn of investment in infrastructure will be spent over the next few decades.

But with transport now accounting, according to some Government sources, up to 40% of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions, serious questions are being asked about whether this strategy meets the climate challenge.

On Wednesday 18 July, in a Zero Carbon Yorkshire-supported event, key speakers will address these and other critical questions with board members and officers from Transport for the North.

Tickets for the event are free and you can reserve your place via Eventbrite.
