The Divest Parliament workshop in Bradford led by Patrick Killoran was interesting and enjoyable. Plans were made to visit all three Bradford MPs who have yet to decide to support Divest Parliament, to start constructive dialogue with them. Another meeting was planned between Bradford council’s leader and one of her constituents.
And join us for Rise for Climate on 8 September! Together with actions around the world we will have a joyful celebration in Bradford of the divestment commitments made so far, with music from the amazing Peace Artistes!
Come dressed in sparkly/glitter from 1pm on Ivegate, Bradford to dance and encourage West Yorkshire Pension Fund to follow Ireland and New York. We look forward to some new and inspiring young speakers. Then join in with BubbleUp – a weekend extravaganza.
