From Settle to Hull, and from Northallerton to Sheffield, there are groups working right now on energy, food, transport, and buildings solutions for a climate safe future. Whether already involved or not, this event is for people who want to make Zero Carbon Yorkshire happen.

Book your place and tell us about yourself – we want to gather a diverse and balanced group from across Yorkshire for this important event.

ZCY weekend programme short

Venue: in central Sheffield
Times: 08:45am on Saturday 28th October to 4:30pm on Sunday 29 October
Tickets: £15 – £30 – £45 depending on income
Stay with us: some overnight accommodation available with friends of ZCY

Over this weekend you will:

·     Ground your action in a technically feasible scenario of how Zero Carbon Britain looks by 2040

·     Learn how we can overcome the psychological, economic and political challenges of making it happen

·     Bring the vision to life for Yorkshire alongside other committed activists from around the region and share past, present and future projects

This event is being run in collaboration with the Zero Carbon Britain team from the Centre for Alternative Technology. Drawing on their extensive research, they will show us how a zero carbon future is possible and how to approach the barriers to achieving it – helping us build a common framework for action in our region, and link together to achieve it.

Come and join us for stimulating workshops, speakers and conversations, plus arts-based activities, great food, networking and socialising. Together we can make it happen!
